One of my biggest regrets in my Motherhood journey, was not booking in a newborn shoot for my eldest son Kai. Swept up in the depths of postpartum, I told myself I would just take the pictures myself, however I never prioritised it and before my eyes, my tiny sleepy newborn was a big boy and I only had average and quick iphone pictures to look back on. Plus every picture with me in it, I looked like I hadn’t slept in 3 years (which lets be real, thats how we feel).

Not only is a newborn shoot a special time to capture your littlest new addition to the family, it creates lifelong images to look back on eternally, plus gives you the opportunity to be apart of some images with your little where you will shine!

What a special time of life we live in that we have the ability to go back and reflect with images on what can be a time so easy to forget in the postpartum fog.
